Arran Photography

Having been interested in photography for a number of years I decided to take things further when I bought my first SLR camera. Since I have completed a number of courses at both Langside College and City of Glasgow College. I am a dedicated Nikon user and use a couple of cameras with different lenses and sometimes filters depending on what is required.

This past year I have had commissions to photograph a number of holiday lets for Arran Holiday Rentals as well as other commercial interests. I am enthusiastic with regards to all aspects of photography but homes and children’s photography are definitely my speciality. I prefer to photograph children in their own environment where they usually feel most relaxed. Thankfully one of my own daughters is usually on hand to assist. In photographing holiday rentals I use a wide angled lens to capture as much of the space as possible. Even if the weather is poor on the day of the shoot I always make a commitment to go back and capture the external views on blue sky day (they do sometimes happen!)
