Cuilabhaila (Gaelic for ‘Edge of the Village’) is a traditional Arran house, beautifully positioned on the prestigious Shore Rd with outstanding views across Lamlash Bay. The owners have renovated their family home to bring it up to date while retaining its comfortable charm. The house sleeps 8 people, with large rooms, open fire, and warm and friendly atmosphere, it now also provides for the needs of modern life with a well equipped kitchen, laundry area, 2 large TV’s and WiFi. The conservatory is ideally positioned to bring in the sun all day long, allowing guests the perfect place to relax and take in the stunning sea views.

There is plenty of parking space and large front and back gardens, including a wooded area and architect-designed children’s wooden playhouse (Squirrel Cottage) at the back. Guests can sit at the front of the house and watch seals and diving gannets as their children play on the shore at the bottom of the garden.

It is peaceful yet close enough to the amenities in Lamlash, just a 10 minute walk away. Lamlash offers a children’s play park, shops, bars, restaurants, cafe, golf club, tennis courts and pier. The beach is only 10 yards from the bottom of the front garden. 

**Please note**: To ensure the house if left in the same condition  at the start of your stay a damage deposit of £100 is held against your card 1 day prior to arrival and once the property has been cleaned & checked over this will be released back to your card within 7 days.  Thank you

** Request from owner**:  In order to keep the property in good condition we politely ask that all dirty shoes & sandy feet are thoroughly cleaned prior to entering the property to save damage to the floors within the property.

Ground Floor:

Living Room: With open log fire, TV and DVD player.
  Conservatory and adjoining dining area: grand piano and TV

Kitchen: With dining table, electric oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and door to garden.

Laundry room: washing m/c, tumble drier

Bedroom 1: Twin Beds

Bathroom 1 with toilet, wash hand basin and shower over bath

First Floor:

Bedroom 2: with king size double bed and en-suite bathroom (2) and view over Lamlash Bay

Bedroom 3: with large double bed and view over Lamlash Bay

Bathroom 3:  bath, wash hand basin and toilet 

Bedroom 4: with twin beds

Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included.  Large enclosed lawned front and back garden with sitting-out areas, Gas BBQ and garden furniture.  Storage area for bicycles.
